Other comments about Barry
I can't beleive what Barry Bonds said about the Jewish yesterday after the home run derby! I used to be his no.1 fan, but now i absolutely hate him!

Bonds is the best player in baseball. The Giants are fortunate that the Pirates were too broke to keep him.

Hey Jason,
How about April 96. Barry could be headed for a year to remember, and he could lock himself into the hall with a fourth MVP.

-David Patterson

If it hadn't been for the Terry Pendleton sympathy vote, Barry would already be the ONLY player in big league history with four MVPs! As it stands, we'll have to wait for him to have a huge year for him to get #4. He's become kinda like Tony Gwynn, in that people hold him to certain expectations, thereby limiting his consideration for MVP. His average year would be enough to garner the trophy for, say Moises Alou, but NOT for Mr. Bonds. Happily, Barry says that he intends to play "9 or 10 more years." If he does, we can be certain that he'll approach some lofty ground - 500 homers, 500 SBs, 3,000 hits and, possibly, 2,000 RBI! I believe that as long as he stays healthy, none of this is out of his reach.
